I'm pretty happy with the effort the Flames came out with in that period. They worked to generate zone time and got some quality chances on net.
Unfortunately Markstrom wasn't quite ready for this one.

Yeah, maybe Markstrom has to be a little sharper on the 2 v 1 goal.
Flip side, Tkachuk had the whole net on his 2v1 and flubbed the shot.
Pretty even game.

York is pretty good between periods. Saad versus Monahan in a straight foot race is a mismatch. The D needs to be aware of it.
