I was out running some errands so I’m just starting the game on PVR.
 I’m predicting 49-7 Bama.

Edit: all it took was one drive and already the Committee will never put another group of five team in the cfp again.

This year a 8 team playoff would have been pointless. If Michigan can give Georgia a game, than maybe 3 teams had a shot. But I don't think that happens.

I don't know, it's only 17-6. I think Notre Dame would have been crushed more by now.

Cincy's defense deserves a better offense. It's as simple as that.

Stopping a run would help them too… not going to win many games when the other team is averaging 6+ yards per carry

But yeah I wonder if Riddler’s performance today pushes him out of the first round of the draft.

Struggled with the size and height of the Alabama line and had a couple of what would have been big pass plays knocked down at the line (including a sure td early on)

That would suck, punishment for playing in a big game? Ironic that he could have lit it up in a nothing game against OKLA State which has no defense.

I’m not sure he was ever seen as a sure fire first round pick.
But this game would raise question marks for sure. Maybe it just a bad day, but he didn’t show any ability to handle what Alabama threw at him today.

Alabama (and really the SEC) is making college football boring though. Part of the fun of college football was that it was high turnover and you had different teams in the mix each year.

They are that good though…if you made an NFL team of just active Alabama alumni they would probably be super bowl favourites wouldn’t they?

WTF? Not to go off board, the Oklahoma State DC ended up in the same position at Ohio State for good reason.

I love College Football, but once the College Football playoffs rolls around it stinks ever year.

There's an idea. That should be the Pro Bowl. SEC vs the rest.

Basically the same beginning as the least game. Let’s see if Michigan decides to show up on offence

Two bad throws on 3rd and 4th down. This next drive could be the game.

Yeah feels like this is over, Michigan aren't built to play a passing heavy game. Probably shouldn't have deferred after winning the toss, getting the initial lead was pretty important to keep the pressure off the passing game.

It doesn’t hurt that Macnamara is garbage. JJ is the future but maybe he gets some play today. Cade isn’t even a great game manager he just limits picks

If you can't trust McNamara to sling it all game then you gotta bench him ASAP, this is looking like 21-0 before long. I get that it's 3rd and 16, but with how Georgia has started you can't be going with give up plays this early.

This is why I kind of wished it was Alabama-Georgia in the semi-finals.
Would have made the finals a little more fun.

I'd rather have crappy SFs and a great title game then good SFs and a massacre in the title game. If nothing else this is a pretty good argument against expanding the playoff (but $$$ always wins, so it's inevitable).

I give Cinici's defence and punter credit. They were game and played pretty well. But the Bear Cats offensive line was over matched pretty badly.
