At least the magic act between periods was good!
OK, the game against the Wild was not that great. (duh!)
But what was pretty cool was the magic act between periods..."Quick Change".
Really slick act. They could change outfits in a blink of an eye. I thought the Flames jersey was awesome!
What did other people think?
I found a video of them, too.

That was a great act. I thought it was brutal at the start, just a cheesey magic show or something and by the silence after the first couple of changes so did the crowd. But by the end everyone roared with applause because it was pretty cool.

Some of the dresses slip off easily. Some of the other ones that get longer simply have the inner cloth released and the material is probalby sensative to something to change the colour absorbed by the material. My guess is bifringement materials that alight based upon magnetic polarity of the cloth covering them.
Dirty jokes, aside.

Apparently you aren't the only one! What was with the mass of people getting up and leaving after Minny's 4th goal? Come on people, are we not Flames fans through thick and thin? Well, I guess some are and some aren't...

You know, I usually have a problem with people leaving the game early if they're down. But last night...I think there was a bit of significance to people walking out early. Actions speak louder than words. A lot of people realized this team is going no where this year, and if I was there...I may have done the same thing.

The magic show was great. A nice change from the same old burger building race. Even the Irish Jig contest in the first intermission was entertaining. Too bad the Flames can't have this level of entertainment every intermission.

Have Flames fans ever done that? If you expect 19,280 people at the dome if this team has a losing record again you're sorely mistaken.
All sports towns are bandwagon towns, unless they've been around 100 years.
People are getting unhappy with this team again, and you can't blame them.

It's the usual rush to the parking lot to beat the traffic. Granted more were leaving than normal last night, but still, it's a tradition at the Saddledome.

No, I can't say that anyone should've been happy with the way the Flames have played lately, particularly last night. I sure as heck wasn't! But I am not about to get up and leave a game early, I don't care if they are losing 8-0 (and there have been plenty of those in Flames past). I don't have the opportunity to go to as many games as I'd like because the bandwagoners snatch up all the tickets, and then can't even be bothered to stay the whole game. Part of the reason to go to games in the first place is to support the team, and ducking out early because you aren't satisfied with the outcome isn't the best way to show support.

Maybe 90% of the people leaving have season tickets and get to go to like 40 games a year and don't need to sit there to the last minute??

Lack of intelligence? FWIW i stuck around till the end. Yes I could see the game was over but also knew there would be a log jam in the parking lot to get out.

They had some quick changers at Coco Bongo in Cancun a few weeks ago when I was there. They were lip syncing with music videos...and then at the end, they switched videos every 30 seconds or so, and this woman went from Madonna, to Cyndi Lauper, to Blondie, to Gwen Stefani, and back to Madonna in a different video...amazing stuff.
