Original penalty should have been high sticking on Yamamoto. That’s what knocked Voraceks helmet off. Oh and look 2-0 Oilers. Stanley Cup parade back on!!

I don’t disagree with the call, but it was still cheaply obtained and lots of times they don’t call the trip because you’re already getting the PP.

Yeah, the key here was that the back ref called the helmet infraction, and the trip happened right in front of the other ref. So they each called one penalty.

Yeah, I know. However, I’ve seen that happen and then they huddled and came up with just one call. I actually wish they’d do it more. It’s just funny it helped the Oilers put this game away early.

Was just at a store playing the game and overheard Perlini (the next saviour of the oilers) hit the post. Jack the clown Michaels then marvels how that made him resemble the guy in pre-season who scored all the goals. He hit the post you ****ing twit- if he were a goal scorer it would be in. Couple goals on a lowly Columbus team and suddenly every player on the oilers is the greatest. Parade back on.
