I dunno, I’d say effort was like 70%. Quite a few shifts off or maybe less so effort and more so focus being not sharp.

Andersson doesn’t seem very strong on the puck and takes too long to make decisions. For that reason he shouldn’t be on PP1 (which sees most icetime) or OT.

Tkachuk needs to hit the net. Crowd was really quiet, needs to work harder for the team and liven up the building, would help the team more than people would like to admit.

Ruzicka was good, seemed more interested than many players like Backlund or Lindholm. Liked Lucic’s game. Kylington looked like he was fighting it. Hanifin a great game I thought. Mangiapane should have had more ice time. Coleman worked hard tried to block a shot, couple nice hits.

Flames probably deserved better, onto next one.

Markstrom was the least of the Flames problems tonight. The biggest problem being the Canes puck luck.

A crappy ot win for someone, either team would have been a just result.
They forgot how to play in OT. Multiple times they made bad decisions and gave up possession. Backlund last bad pass to nobody resulted in the Canes just skating back with possession and scoring. It was bad decision making in OT that lost them the game.

Hopefully they all watched that Aho goal in overtime. Sometimes you just have to crash the net. Flames don’t do that enough.

Honestly anything from now until the Chrismas break is a crapshoot.

Flames need rest and practice time to sort out their game. The schedule is too compressed.

You ever heard of creating your own luck?

They look nervous in front of Flames fans at times. Probably because the crowd is like mute and constantly judging haha
