So in the NFL if you were down by 14, you have to go for it there, to try and keep the ball and stay in the game. How much do analytics change for College where you can run more plays in this time than a NFL team can?

Interesting.
I never watched Georgia this year, but heard about their defense all year, so I am a little surprised how easily Bama moved the ball after struggling so badly versus Auburn..
Bad matchup? Lack of urgency? Or did Auburn schematically do something unexpected?
looking forward to Michigan/Iowa. Just don't turn the ball over and Michigan should win this...
1 Bama
2 Michigan (if they win)
3 Georgia
4 Cincinnati
One can argue that Cincy should be ahead of Georgia, but I doubt the committee wants to schedule a rematch if they can avoid it.

Welp guess I read Georgia wrong. Bad time for a #### kicking, hopefully Michigan beats Iowa and Georgia’s will is broken by this monumental failure on their part.

I can’t help but think that Georgia knowing they were in regardless and Bama knowing their season was on the line played a part.
That and Nick Saban is a wizard.

And even before today, Georgia's lost 6 in a row against Alabama including two previous SEC championship games and the National Championship Game. You would think Georgia would want to beat Alabama more than anything else at this point and finally get the Saban monkey off their back.

Their only hope now is if Michigan loses. If Michigan wins:
1. Michigan
2 Alabama
3 Cincinnati
4 Georgia
If Michigan loses
1. Alabama
2 Cincinnati
3 Georgia
4 Notre Dame
Playoff Committee will have to find a way for Georgia and Alabama to play again in the semifinals.

Committee is too cowardly to have an SEC title game rematch for the semifinal playoff game right?

Unfortunately that's true.
but at the same time, would you rather have a rematch in the semis or risk one in the Finals?
Michigan was #2 in the rankings, they should be #1 with Georgia losing and Bama's loss being worse.
it should be Michigan, Bama, Georgia and Cincinnati but it will be

Who cares though? Why would anyone even want an SEC championship rematch in a semi?
Bama, Michigan, Georgia, Cincy seems fine. So does Michigan, Bama, Cincy, Georgia.
Basically no one likes rematches, so I’m curious why you guys would want that?
