Twice! That's twice now that you've admonished me with a made-up definition to a word you can't even bother to copy-paste from an online dictionary.
If you think anybody is going to believe your blatantly transparent strawman arguments you're going to have to try a lot harder than this. This is amateur hour, it's like if I asked how long it's been since you stopped beating your wife.

I am not going to lie, I am experiencing some schadenfreude over Kipper_3434's inability to spell schadenfreude.

It’s “waving”, not “waiving”.

Perhaps he did use "waiving" correctly and meant that you were not using your 3 degrees in someone else's face.

More interesting question here for me is the origin of this political divide. When and how did it start? Why is the vaccine topic the thing that has made some people suddenly worried about losing their freedom? That the vaccine mandate will put us on that slippery slope that leads to totalitarianism. It seems such a random and absurd place to draw the line. Or has this simply been the tipping point of all the political tension than has been building up for couple of decades in the our societies, aided by social media, and the topics are mostly irrelevant. Or is it just the fact that the internet and social media has provided a platform for the extremes to shout out moronic ideas anonymously without any responsibility and they do it the loudest.
Putting my tinfoil hat on, Putin and his chat bots are gas lighting all platforms and trying to divide people as much as possible. Lol.

Actually, I think that's not so far-fetched. Russia does want to weaken the West as much as possible, and what better way to do that than to prolong the pandemic and its associated economic shutdowns, and what better way to weaken democracy than to forment distrust among our people?
If you look at the origin of most anti-vaxx information (not just related to COVID-19), it primarily comes from Russian sources.

But there is something abnormal and unique about this, and that is that we are in a pandemic, and abnormal and unique reactions are required to attempt to save lives, hence what most see as a reasonable requirement for the implementation of vaccination passports.

Well, he and Putin are tied at the hip. But yeah. If he’d come out full throated in favour of the vaccine and mandates his followers would line up and there’d be very little argument about it.
It’s funny, way back when he was downplaying the pandemic he said the then undeveloped vaccine would simply end things and be the silver bullet. But when the rollout didn’t happen under his watch, and since he’d already been at war with the medical community over masks and hydroxychloroquine, etc, the division was ready-made.

Goes beyond that, Trump was a reaction to something too.
Jonathan Haidt has an interesting theory, goes back to the 90s. Academia that had always leaned left turned overwhelmingly so when the war generations retired / got replaced. This alienated the right completely and it became anti-science because the ideas coming out of the "ivory tower" were ideologically so far from them. Which then lead to increasing political tensions over the past two-three decades. I recommend checking some of his stuff on Youtube, it's very interesting.

Why is vaccination such a big deal in especially the US? I mean polio, measles, Hep B, TBC and so on didn’t cause political divide did they? Saving lives is good.
Before the internet every village had an idiot, now every idiot has a village thanks to social media.

The odds of her not being cut from the same "God-over-science" idiot-cloth as Fisher are astronomically slim, you realize.
