Can people just make their health decisions and not announce it publicly to every one?
I know anti-vaxxers who I like as people, but might also be cause they keep their decision to themselves, let others make their own choices too and don't go into rah-rah crusade mode because they made an unpopular choice.
Like I'm not announcing I'm with the United Gluten-Free group cause I made a dietary decision to cut it out. I just eat what I eat and shut up and go about my life.
Why is that hard.

If someone wants to work for an employer that provides contraception, they're more than welcome to.
If you want to call out inconsistency... I'm finding many people who support vaccine mandates are against legislation restricting abortion because of so-called "my body my choice" reasoning

What medical procedure? This is merely a vaccine that teaches your body how to fight a virus that can otherwise kill you or render you extremely ill. Sorry, but if anyone is going to put others at unnecessary risk by not getting this done or by promoting not getting this done, they don't deserve to enjoy the same freedoms 80%+ of the population does.
My message to these types: Grab a tissue and enjoy sitting in your dingy freedom loving basement all winter going mad when you could be living a somewhat normal existence. It's about the common good and people that don't acknowledge this are just selfish scum.

In my eyes, Jarome Iginla could do no wrong. He was a god among men when I was growing up. Thankfully I grew up, and now realize he's just a demi-god among men
Mike Fisher was a really popular hockey player, and I'm sure he had some die hard and loyal fans. He spews this kind of bull####, there will be a segment of people who will believe him and love him for it. There are always people seeking confirmation bias, and if someone popular says this crap, it begins to spread like a disease.

I think Fisher just wanted some attention.
I get that Rodgers is a big name, but does anyone actually care about Mike Fisher?
Let's be honest, in the US he's just Carry Underwood's husband.

Because one makes other people sick, the other doesn’t. One passes on misinformation, the other doesn’t. Because one is based in science and the other isn’t. Because there are no vaccine mandates forcing vaccines on anyone. It’s employment requirements.
Like I said, glibertarians

Right. But then the other side of this is that anyone is free to say anything they want to critique your comments. This is also the price of free speech, you will be held to account in the public sphere for your public comments.
Nobody is punishing these people for saying their crap, outside of a direct violation of league policies for Rodgers.
However, the idea that you can say whatever you want and nobody has the right to call you out for your stupid thoughts is bogus. That's all that's happening here.

A vaccine is certainly a medical procedure, no matter how minor it may seem. There's a reason why certain people have received medical exemptions for certain vaccines. Again for the record, I understand their safety and proven track record.

Well abortion typically only involves the birth mother and doesn't really impact hospital capacity or cause potential serious illnesses to other people in direct contact.

I never said that. It's the marketplace of ideas. People speak out at their own peril. I'm just critical of people who seem to be comfortable attacking someone for making their own healthcare decision. As for flaming him for poor reasoning and disinformation, flame away.

LOL. No one criticized his decision to try crank remedies. If Rodgers decided a vaccine wasn’t for him and sat out the NFL no one would say a word. They criticized him passing that off as being vaccinated, endangering his teammates, then whining about it when he got caught and fined.

You keep saying this and ignoring the response.
The only reason anyone cares is because it's not simply their own healthcare decision.
If it has a direct impact on the spread of covid to others and hospital access for others, that's not "their own healthcare", it's everyone's healthcare.

If someone thinks this is a procedure therein lies the problem. How privileged someone must be to see a vaccine as a medical procedure, regardless of definition, when countless numbers of people are dealing with real medical issues like dialysis, cancer treatment, corrective surgeries etc. ?
Oh and many of the above procedures have been completely scrapped thanks to the freedom loving degenerates who are literally taking away a persons right to medical care.
