coming back from a long successful road trip, makes some sense to get fresh legs in, to hopefully avoid this potential trap situation of coming off a 5-0 road trip

This has the makings of a Flames loss. First game back home from a very successful road trip, and Flyers last game of the road trip.

Keep it going boys. We're a top team now, let's keep it that way. Be it, believe it! And crush your opponents.

These aren't the Flames you're looking for.
Move along, move along.

It’s a trap game for the Flyers too. Last game of a road trip, albeit not a very long one.

No. They have been out here since Wednesday.

If there were draws in hockey, tonight would be a draw.
I expect an OT or SO coin toss.
Monahan will finally score tonight, on the PP.

Valimaki out is interesting. Is it trying to get Zadorov in or could he be part of a trade.

They were in the 80s in Edmonton though. While we stayed in the 2020s.

It is, because I thought Valimaki had a very strong game against the Pens.

Vegas talks cool off and Valimaki is scratched after a good game.
Doubtful its anything, but worth pointing out.

I think Gudbranson has actually been pretty effective.

That is one big mean lineup. Hopefully they sent the Flyers home from their long road trip with lots of bruises.

As in, "Yikes! That bottom pair is going to destroy me if I get anywhere near them on the ice!"?

Have to keep in mind this is Goodbranson who elevates his partners and stuff.
Thats a bone-crunching pairing for sure. I wouldn't want to be cycling along the boards in Calgary's zone with them out there. No sir-y
