Depends on what they want.
These deals often end up being quantity based. If I were Vegas i would want a prospect or two with top line upside.
The only prospect that represents that right now is Krebs.

Poirier is 6’1” and 190 lbs. Not that small for a 19 yr. old.

If I’m Buffalo, regardless of players I’m getting an unprotected 1st, and that shouldn’t even be negotiable that part.

If you're Buffalo, Eichel is going to sit out most of the season then.
Wait, are you Buffalo?

An unprotected 1st? I'm giving that up in a heartbeat if that's the centerpiece of the deal. It won't be though.
Jiri's right. You need to look at the highest value piece Buffalo would receive. If LV is giving up Krebs, you need to top that. And then you can reduce the rest of the package if needed.

Vegas un protected 1st is looking higher. The D they are offering is better. The prospect they are offering is probably better. Not looking good. Unless we can do the old Phaneuf special and offer a bunch of loose ends.

I think most people would still expect Calgary's pick to be better
7 games in and Calgary is already better than Vegas who most picked to win the div?

At this point, I wouldn't. Not because of the Flames' hot start, but because the Golden Knights have some serious injuries and their goaltending just isn't what it was when they had Fleury. They could still win the division, but I don't see it being a runaway like some past years.

It would hurt to give up Mangi, but I'd do it depending on the rest of the parts

I'd rather give up Tkachuk at this point, simply because of the money. Both players will get paid next year, but Mangiapane doesn't have the team up against a $9 million QO a year out from UFA.

Agreed plus I think there’s something to the rumours he doesn’t get along with the group.

That's my guess too, or possibly Kylington. They want something that hurts that the Flames don't want to give up.

And that’s why Buffalo probably wants no part of Tkachuk. Can’t see them wanting to deal with him so soon after the headache Eichel has caused them.
If we have to beat krebs, to get the deal done I think it takes Mangiapane to do it .

If it's Mangiapane + all the other pieces that have been suggested, that's a hard no for me. If it's Mangiapane + Hanifin + picks/prospects, I laugh and hang up the phone.
If Vegas really is offering Theodore + Krebs + picks + one or more other pieces, I say they can go ahead and blow their brains out. It would gut the Flames to match an offer like that.
