You always hear how hard to play the last game of a long road trip is. If the Flames win this one, especially without having lost a game on the trip, it will say a lot about this team's mental makeup.
IMO, this is another benefit to Sutter hockey and the big bodies he likes. It might be a deterrent, especially vs an out of conference team, to hold Sid out one more game.... just in case. That's my hope anyways.

Slim chance I think. Sid is a renowned for his compete level, so he'll be raring to go if he's cleared medically.
I am not ashamed to admit he scares me and I hope he needs one more day of recovery.
I was about to ask if Kylington has ever played this many games in a row before, and was surprised to see he now has 100 NHL games. I doubt he has ever played this much at a start of a season which is nice to see.
Pens have divisional games coming up. More important to them to have Sid healthy for those than against a western team. Also sounds like he had issues with faceoffs, so no need to rush your Franchise
Sucks to not see Crosby. I typically only watch Flames games so this is one of the few times a season I am able to watch him play, and he's always been one of my favourites.
Hoping for a big Tkachuk night. The team has done extremely well, without offence from him (and Monahan, but he doesn't have the same ice time). If he gets going....
Pens missing Crosby, Malkin and LeTang and I think some others. Yet they still caused a heart attack with that guy who does the youtube stuff with the Leafs when they pummeled them 7-1.

But I bet this is his longest streak with quality minutes.
Oh man do I miss this Ferland. He was a force when he was healthy. Unfortunately he couldn't stay healthy but he was one of my favorite players and I was super happy he got his pay day before injuries totally ruined the rest of his career. He deserved it.
