Good second. One bad mistake from Vladar but otherwise solid.

Great 4th line shift.
Trevor Lewis is barely noticeable for all the right reasons. He's a solid and smart hockey player that doesn't seem to ever hurt you.

Who better than Sutter to mould young defencemen.

Monahan has over a PPG in his career vs the Devils. If he can't break the schneid here, don't know what is gonna do it.

Hanifin could still get there, he's only 24 still. Hard to believe he is the same age as Kylington.

Agree 100%
The team has gotten decent offense from the backend in the recent past, and I'm not feeling it from this crew.
I hope Ras can become that guy, only time will tell.

Sorry but to me Kylington has surpassed Hanifin on the depth chart. Hanifin has been pretty good but always leaves you wanting more.

He's shown signs of rounding into form. I believe he's made some great progress since game 1 to tonight. He's looked faster and more engaged and getting quick shots off.

Ritchie has been on the ice for 5 of Mang's 7 goals and he still doesn't have a point on the season.

Probably should announce his retirement if he doesn’t score tonight.

Unorthodox move, but if I'm Sutter I reunite Monahan with Gaudreau in the third. A team he's torn up in the past, back with Johnny, decent chance he could get on the board and get some confidence.

Yup. Does all the little, boring things right like getting the puck deep every time, taking the body on the forecheck, getting his shots on net and not giving the puck away.

I can't quote either, but to AC --> I don't understand how you can watch Trevor Lewis and see a positive.
