Yeah I could see a ban there too. He let his frustration with the game boil over and clearly went over top of the ball there. I don't support either of these teams but I hate to see someone injured like that with the result done

For me, that comes down the manager. Your players must show discipline.

5 yellows and a red, no penalties and there is still 20 minutes left to play.

United could legitimately have been given four reds today.

Luke Shaw is awful. Just absolutely awful.
He literally just ran away and let TAA walk right in.

really curious who gets to take over. Not a fan of either Conte or Zidane tbh ... really like ten Hag, but I doubt they'd let him go during the season. Too bad Poch isn't available anymore.

When one legend goes down he has to be replaced by another!
Step right up Paul Scholes!

The Ronaldo kick-out was easily the most egregious foul of all of them. He kicked Jones three times and somehow escaped with a yellow card.

No. I'm being serious
Htf is the bolded two remotely close to being a red?

If that was anyone other than CR7 they'd have been shown the tunnel.
And the high-boot was pretty much identical to what got Griezmann sent off mid-week.

I’ll give you Fred.
But the foul just outside the box was a red.

This is just embarrassing now. They are just killing the clock.
United players arent even moving.

Yes. The first kick though, he missed the ball completely. That alone was a wild challenge deserving of a red. The ref blew the whistle and he kicked out twice more, including a full kick when the player was prone on the ground and the ball was touching his chest.
There's no room in the game for a professional player to try to deliberately injure another.

well for United, it's all about damage control at this point. You're down 5-0 with one player sent off, what are you going to do? It's why they lost 6-1 against City under Fergie back then, they kept attacking when the game was already lost and walked into disaster. 5-0 against Liverpool is nasty, but still better than 8-0.

Get a grip.
The first challenge alone was not worthy of a red.
