my guess at number one is Planet Nine from Outter Space, the film where Bella Lagosi (sp) died after shooting five scenes, yet they spliced him in over and over again anyway.

Maximum Overdrive should be up there as well

Traffic is the worst movie you've ever seen? You either have really high standards or really poor taste.

haven't read the list, but Charlie's Angels bugged the crap outta me, eye candy to boot. I can think of 10 other movies at any given time, but now my mind is blank.

53 - Envy
62 - Ultraviolet
77 - The Skulls
85 - White Noise
86 - Elektra

Wow! Hope you bought those in the bargain bin. I have a friend who doesn't have cable and he buys every movie he sees, including his highly recommended "Boat Trip" (on the list).

I am picky about movies and have a pretty good idea about what I won't like by the previews, synopsis, etc.. I have still been dragged to some bad ones but the only time I could convince the other person to walk out of the theatre was for Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion

Movies I own from the list:

97. Slackers - Not great, but certainly not one of the 100 worst movies of all time. Has some prety funny parts, but the humor is sort of weird.

79. Stealing Harvard - This movie is genuinely funny as well, but again the humor is strange. As a "movie" it's not very good, but there's no way this movie is worse than all but 78 other movies.

I went through the list, didn't see Freddy got Fingered, but I own that one as well, and feel it's a badly misjudged film because the humor is so off-beat. I'm not a big fan of the gross-out stuff, but I love the rest of that movie.

I thought Stealing Harvard was alright too. It wasn't as bad as Dude, Where's My Car, or Club Dread, which are not on the list.

I was a little disappointed to see the Number 23 up there. I thought it looked interesting.

And we're just talking wide release films here too, because from Ed Wood, to Roger Corman there are hundreds of purely awful films that far and away beat all of these (even the top 10).

Most are obscure 50's sci-fi, 60/80's horror, and awful German necrophilia films, but again, this is a wide release list.

The only wide release film I have ever fell asleep during was The Best Man, which was like watching the worlds most wooden Gap commercial with an all-black cast.

I'm a die hard movie fanatic, and I FELL ASLEEP :/

I'm assuming the only reason people own even a small fraction of any of these films are from Rogers/Blockbuster's PREVIOUSLY VIEWED crap wall, where 3/5 discs are so scratched they are unwatchable!

I can picture poor Reggie crying watching Slap Shot 2. What a horrible show. Freddie Got Fingered was just plain annoying. The only movie I've ever taken back to the video store and demanded a refind from was Natural Born Killers. Total piece of crap.

I was surprised to see God and Generals there, I thought that one was supposed to be good.

I love you.

I feel like the biggest ass in a room full of pretentious movie nerds when this film is brought up (it may be my undying hate for Oliver Stone and his "HEY HEY!!! LOOK AT THIS!!! ISN'T THIS JUST AWFUL?? Here!!! Let me beat you over the head with a painfully simple message for 2+ hours!!!").

I love Woody Harrelson and the majority of the cast of this film (I mean, Rodney Dangerfield is the man), but it sucks SO MUCH GODDAMNASDGFTAWERTF grrr...couple all that with the fact that stone paid Quentin Tarantino a paltry sum for the original script, hacked it to death, and filmed it as his 'own vision', all without ever giving Tarantino even a modicum of credit for the script. Tarantino says it's the only script he ever regretted allowing another director to make, which I believe because Destiny Turns On The Radio and True Romance are great.

Eks vs Sever wasn't the worst movie ever.

I'm not saying it was good, but I could think of more that were worse. Anyone seen Idiocracy?

Why wasn't house of the dead in first? Worst movie I've ever seen.

oh hell no. everyone i know who grew up in the 80's and watched that as a kid has fond memories of it. now there is no way i'd watch it as an adult because i know how bad it is, but as a kid there was nothing cooler than a Coke machine of death and an evil-clown-bigrig villan
