I kept getting errors when trying to add to the cart on Best Buy's site. Managed to get through on the Google store and place an order for the phone I wanted plus a charger. This was crazy though. I spent well over 2 hours trying to buy the damn thing.
We've been trying to get one for my partner since it opened on the Google store. I've probably tried every possible permutation for the pixel 6 and they keep getting removed from basket after a million errors. What a joke.
like the world's worst striptease, every 20 minutes or so it lets you add one to your cart, but checkout has Gandalf standing in the way. there be some robot bullshiet going on here.
Sweet, got the white Pro on the Google Store with the free pixel buds and 30w charger (charger wasn't free). Cancelled my Best Buy order without any hassle. Phew.
First phone in three years...glad I got exactly what I wanted.

Dammit. I tried to do the same but the Pro sold out again.
Have any experience with best buy preorders? Generally good?
What's this about a 30w charger? Should I have ordered one, will any old usb-c cord not work?
You just need it for the fastest charging rate; the old phone chargers will still charge at the more typical ~15W rate. But from what I've read, the Pixel 6 uses the widespread USB-C Power Delivery standard for that 30W charging rate, so almost any 30+W USB-C charger should give you the faster charging rate.

Ah, thanks. Fast charging isn't really a concern for me. But I reserve the right to change my mind, then bitch and complain at a later date

I bought the brick, but it may be a waste of $30 for me. Fast charging isn't something I've ever really needed. I wirelessly charge overnight and will continue to just do that.
