Special thanks to the 942 idiots who voted for Roberts.

I’m torn. Chu is obviously not someone I want on council, but at the same time, democracy must be respected. Look at how little council was able to do when Magliocca was caught. The province are unlikely to step in as this happened in 1997.

If you're taking the position of judicial non-interference, shouldn't "have the information available to voters" be the default, non-interference state, and withholding the information be the interference state? Or was non-interference not relevant at all to the decision?

A recount will be done, but I don’t know if it will make up 52 votes.
27 people to change their vote us all it would have taken.

I’d like to see a public inquiry regarding the details of the publication ban and why it was lifted.

When did mail ins have to arrive by? Is there any hope that there are still uncounted mail ins out there that are eligible to be counted.
The people to blame are the non-voters. They would have potentially heard this news and did nothing. All that was needed was 53 of them.
An funny scenario would be Chu resigns and Farkas runs and wins.

Mail in ballots were the same (I assume) scantron ones as the regular vote. Based on what mine looked like.

Mail in ballots had to be received by yesterday, by 4pm IIRC.

All mail-in ballots had to be received by 4:00pm yesterday. They were done with the scannable ballots as the other votes, so they should all be included in the final count.

I know everyone should vote for the person who best represents them, but if only 2% of the people who voted for Angela McIntyre had gone with Kelly (looking at her platform, I assume few of her voters would have supported Chu), it would have made up the difference.

I find it hard to believe he had an assistant and could still be so utterly unprepared for everything.

Man the DST one is gonna be close. Hopefully Edmonton makes it a "NO" win, but right now only counting Red Deer, Calgary, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat its a 4462 vote difference.

Based on the earlier comment about northern communities being more “no” than south, that actually bodes well.

I had eight signs on my lawn and four are now gone.

It looks like Grande Prairie adds about 1,100 to the No side: https://everythinggp.com/2021/10/19/...ation-removal/
