I think his time in Edmonton is nearing the end. He's 35 now, has never had a strong arm and he totally wilts under pressure.

			Adams officially on the 6-game.

Thinking the crossover might be the better path to the Grey Cup, but lots can happen in the next 3-4 weeks...

That loss to an undermanned Tiger Cats team could come back to haunt them though. Had the won that one they would be sitting comfortably in a playoff spot in either conference today rather than being on the outside.

Jake either has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in close contact with someone who tested positive. Either way, not ideal.

Interesting interview between the Stamps BPB guy and Steve Allen, the head of the McMahon Stadium Society. (Yes, the same gentleman who runs the government 'war room'
https://soundcloud.com/user-23773824...f45807d884245c
A few highlights:

-McMahon is an orphan when it comes to capital funding, as it is an independent body, so neither the univerity or the city see it as a top priority.
-Blowing out the concourses and redoing the washrooms (and I would assume the other services) on both sides would cost about $25 million.
-Seating capacity of McMahon has expanded in the past, while the facilities for hosting those fans has not.

-A south end zone concourse behind the scoreboard, with suites, bars and other amenities, is envisioned in a further phase.
-Selling/leasing some of the parking lot and practice field is seen as a way to raise capital funds, if the University let McMahon retain some of that $.
-CESC would be open to having less seats in the stadiu, with Allen saying 25000 seats as a size CESC has mentioned.

First of all, kudos for a long and successful career as a sports broadcaster. He certainly wasn't one of my favourite guys to listen to, but I think he poured his heart and soul into his craft. I'm sure he will land on his feet somewhere.

I imagine they are celebrating on Riders forums as a lot of fans didn't like him. I admit he wasn't perfect but certainly not intolerable like some of the guys Sportsnet has hired to do NHL pbp.

Lions have released Shaq Cooper who's a guy I think the Stamps should take a look at, he could spell off Ka'Deem Carey and is a versatile RB who is also adept as a receiver. I can't think he would be that much of a hit to the salary cap with the season more than halfway over.

Gross. Any money sunk into McMahon is a waste in my opinion. It's over 60 years old and was never built with longevity in mind. it has always had a "temporary" feel to it in my opinion. The sightlines are the only good thing about the place.

I would love it if they rebuilt the stadium one side at a time on the same site. Demolish and rebuild the west side grandstands over the course of a couple years. Then when that side is done do the same to the east side. The stadium can still function during construction and everyone would sit on one side of the field while the other is being worked on. They can add some temporary endzone seats to make up for a loss in seating capacity. Once both sides are complete they can connect the endzones with party zones and seating. This is done very often with old European stadiums that are being rebuilt and might save some money with construction costs being spaced out over a few years. Still don't understand why we can't build a nice outdoor stadium with a partial roof for $300 million. We missed the boat during the oil boom years no question.
