				 Third jersey nights.

Have the Flames released a schedule of when they will be wearing third or alternate jersey's?

We don't have a 3rd jersey this season.

Just our (retro) home and away set.

I think the plan is to bring back the reverse retro next year but with a new design for all teams again which would be awesome.
The home and away retro set we have though are glorious.

I would love this if true. Do you have any source to confirm?

“I can say we are pushing for it,” one Western Conference executive said. “We’ve been pretty vocal about that with the league, it’s something I think would be great for all of us.”

“It’s gonna happen,” an Eastern Conference executive said. “It’s coming back, I’m not sure if the league is ready to make that official. But I don’t see how they don’t do it.”

It wouldn’t be the same jerseys that were sold during the first rendition of reverse retro, it would be another new look, and one team source already said their team has already designed and knows what the next reverse retro jersey would look like.

Another Flames reverse retro (though last year was not a RR) would be interesting.
 Pedestal reboot?
True reverse of current would be a yellow/gold jersey.

I'll go with pedestal reboot. Some hands are probably twitching in the Flames merchandise department without having black anywhere on any of the uniform sets for the first time in 27 seasons...so it will be a predominantly black jersey. My guess is something around the obnoxious and ugly pedestal sets, which were only red and white.

Just give me the 2004 Black Flaming C with Blasty on the shoulders as a 3rd and I will be happy.

I would love to see the Flames wear white at home a few times through this season, especially against the Original 6 teams.

Part of me is like dude, 2004 isn’t retro. It’s too recent.

Then I realize it was 17 years ago and probably 50% of NHLers are too young to remember it.

I would have to imagine it's just the reverse retro again. I was never a fan of ol' Horse Snot, but given how many younger fans seemed to love it, and all the marketing that went into it, just seems weird to me that it'd just be a one & done.

Good is no more 2010s home jerseys.

Bad is no new Blasty.

			My ideal set is
 Current retro red as home
 Current retro white as away
 Reverse retro blasty as alternate
Reverse retro pedestal or 04 jersey as new reverse retro

Does anyone know why they changed the 04-07 design when they switched to reebok edge for the 07-08 season (to the flag versions). I was too young at the time but looking at it I have no clue why they would do that.

Basically new cut and fit of the jerseys. Things like gussets under the arms and other fabric/technology changes, which meant the then current jersey designs for many teams wouldn't work with the new template.

If they did the black and gold Calgary Tigers jersey, or a take on that style with the Flaming C or Blasty that could be a really cool jersey.

Using black and yellow makes sense as the two colours in Flames history not currently featured on the home and away.

If this season goes awry they might as well wear the heritage classics and call ourselves the Ronald McDonalds.
