Assuming your an Eagles fan....is there any hope of Jeremy Bloom evolving into a Kevin Curtis type? Did he play at all this year?

Stallworht is more explosive, but for the money the phins are paying booker, its a steal of a deal. Stallworth brings lots of off field problems, in Miami its allready easy to get into trouble.

The Phins have booked an April 4th workout for QB Drew Stanton. I don't much about Stanton can someone fill me in on what he brings to the table.

The incredible ND come back against Michigan State was helped in large part by Stanton making some really bad decisions/throws/INTs. The coaching had a lot to do with it as well, but it would have been alomst impossible timewise for ND to comeback had Stanton not turned the ball over to them.
He will require a lot of coaching at the NFL level but because of his physical skills he will go high to a team that has the patience to work with him.

I feel your frustration.....but it's the way the Eagles operate. There is usually a reason they let certain players go without much of a fight. As is well known.....Stallworth has had his share of off field problems. Also, some questioned his pain threshold when he missed several games due to the nagging hamstring injury. It makes the trade last year, I believe they sent a 2nd rounder along with Simoneau, seem like a waste now, though.

He was put on IR this year and the hope is he will boost the return game. I don't see him starting at WR this year unless he has a very good camp. Funny you would compare him to Curtis as the Eagles are the leading candidates to land him.

I read an article I believe it was in the Miami herald, that the Phins offered the exact money that the Pats did for Stallworth but because the QB situation in Miami is up in the air, he signed with Pats to play with Brady.
I will try to find the link.

I heard that he was offered an quivalent by the Eagles but his agent (Rosenhaus, of course) told him it was less.

Broncos sign Brandon Stokley
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2805775
I've got to say, this is the deepest set of receivers the Broncos have had in a while.
Javon Walker
Rod Smith, the wily veteran and future hall of famer
Brandon Marhshall, an emerging deep threat with great hands and size
Stokley, although he is coming off an achilles tendon tear
Throw in Daniel Graham and Tony Sheffler at TE.
I can't remember a stronger group in Denver since Ed McCaffrey called it quits a few years back.

Falcons QB Matt Schaub has been traded to the Texans.

It means some team is going to get a good young QB for virutally nothing when the Texans decide to move him on draft day.
For Carr's sake, I hope he doesn't end up in Oakland.

Would not be surprised to see Carr end up in Cleveland. I could also see him going to Oakland and the Raiders using the first overall pick on Calvin Johnson.

I bet Carr is released after this trade occurs.

Not a chance. The Texans should at least be able to get a 3rd for him.
