I imagine Grichuk is just an awesome dude, but boy do I hope he is not a Jay after this season ends.

I can't watch Pillar lite making $10 million anymore.

Need to replace with a LHB that can play OF and DH (Hello Schwarber)

Why is Stripling in this game?
So that Richards and Pearson and Cimber and Mayza and Romano aren't

Haha, I already answered my own question with that same answer.

Barnes is available though too I think.

BTW, what the hell happened Soria? I don't remember him getting hurt again.

If that isn't enough to get the job done Stripling wouldn't have been the difference I suppose.
Exactly. Stripling has allowed 9 runs in 6 innings in his 3 appearances since he got injured in August. Do you really want to go to him in a must win game? I also expect that Berrios if need be can come throw a frame or two as well.

I don't think he's stretched out right now. He's been coming out of the pen as of recently. Still a curious move regardless. Dude was starting games earlier this year.

#### I hope that comes back to bite the Sox in the nuts.

Man, I still can't believe the Yankees swept Boston and that Seattle won all 7 from Oakland down the stretch here.

Those two improbable results really looking like daggers in hindsight.

I mean all we needed was Oakland to win 1 of 7 and the Sox to win 1 of 3 and the Jays would be guaranteed at least a play in game with a win tomorrow.

Still need help now though.

Nats broke up the perfect game and are showing life.

And more importantly. Jays win!

Also he had a perfect game going! It's now gone though with Richards giving up a single.

I think both like it with the Jays, and would love to be back as long as they aren't getting low balled. Give them fair offers and get them signed. Both are a good age for starting pitchers too.

Now is not the time to cheap out with this team poised to be a legit contender, especially when you factor in the division they are forced to navigate.

Ray
Berrios
Ryu
Manoah
Matz

That is a very good rotation, as we've seen for a few months now. Then you have chicken Strip and Pearson as long men who can spot start.
Not too long ago, like earlier this season, men like Tanner Roark were taking the ball every 5 days. Look how far we've come!

Blows me away.

Gives me hope that even if the Jays can't get Ray or Matz to come back on fair deals, they still have a good nucleus (Berrios, Manoah, Ryu, Stripling, Pearson) to build around, and also seem to be very good at identifying starting pitchers that they can acquire for cheap and fix.

If the nationals can pull this one off it would be something. They don’t have confidence so we’ll see here. Two outs hardly works.
