Fan 960 just had all that, I believe they will put it up on their site right away
One thing of note from what Sutter said, was that he felt Tkachuk is better as a LW and would be playing there. "Getting back to his game"

The Flames website has videos of Tkachuk and Gaudreau & Monahan speaking with the media and an interview with Coleman.

^ Yeah, can't see Sutter throwing the beach ball onto the ice and pumping the tunes.

His skating seemed to have added an extra gear. Then the injury….

I bet it takes a couple gaffes on a couple of early losses before they clue in.
Don't know why they think tough = good. Or new = bona-fide top 6.
Least make him earn it.
But we shall see.

As shown here, these 3rd and 4th lines are shockingly awful. As are the D pairings outside of Hanifin/Andersson. Yikes.

Sutter makes a good point about Tkachuk playing left wing...I'm gonna go with the 3 time cup winner on this one
Key is having 2 good lines and not one

Monahan was always his best when he tried to move the puck himself and add a possession element to his shot.
Now that he's healthy why put him back with Gaudreau where he let's Johnny do all the possession work and sits back into his tap in game.
If you give Mony the chance to try to centre his own line he could run with it. With Coleman and Bread they might really be able to establish something as a trio where maybe Monahan advances his game a little.
Don't like this going back to an old well that never paid off for them in 6 years.
I absolutely believe you could have two great lines with them apart.
Tkachuk with Gaudreau brought out the best in both those guys and it was obvious.
There is really no reason to go back.

Actually I don't mind the third line at all.
Dube with Backs and Pitlick could turn into a 3M-lite.

Largely in meaningless games to be fair
Gaudreau and Monahan certainly paid off at times...Coleman brings another element too

Monahan had a good start last season because he was making good passes and setting up Gaudreau. He'll never be the dangling, fancy passing centre that some people covet. But he can be an effective playmaker. He just has to avoid deferring to Gaudreau all the time.
That said, I would have liked to see a Mangiapane-Monahan-Coleman line. I think it could be very effective.
