Springer and Semien both slumping sure isn't helping Vladdy's triple crown chances. Vladdy's getting his hits but with no one on base he's getting no RBI's.

What if they kept Springer as DH, but just moved him down to the 7 spot or something. Let him work through it.

Probably won't mean much when all is said and done but that first strike call on Teo was horrible. A pitcher who couldn't find the strikezone about to go 3-0 in a count after walking 2. Ump gifts him one and instead of Teo taking one at 3-0 and setting himself up for a hitters count he now has to scramble. And cost the Jays at a legitimate shot of a rally. Just like game one. Probably the most lopsided umped series I've seen in a long time.

I've been forced to notice how many innings he's been batting either first or second because those 2 keep ending innings

Barring a miracle where the Rangers somehow beat the yankees the Jays will likely be out of a playoff spot by the end of the night.

Sure as hell better take care of business against the twins while Boston and the yankees are playing each other.

Getting revenge on Tampa doesn’t matter. What matters is playing well enough over next three series to beat one of Boston or NY. If players get suspended or even worse hurt in some scrum that is a disaster. Sure KK did some sketchy stuff but it’s also on Kirk to protect his stuff and they’ve lost the game here already. Just focus on playing well and making the playoffs.

I really wish the manager wouldn't sit on his hands smiling while the umpiring crew runs all over his team with some of the worst strike and ball calls I've ever seen.

I wonder how many times Gibby would have been tossed this series? 3 for 3?

Refs and umpires are making sports unwatchable lately for me. They need to be held more accountable for poor performance.

How are the Mets as bad as they are? I was thinking they could maybe split the series against the Sox. But nope, not looking good on that front. The Sox are on an absolute heater now thanks to a weak schedule and it doesn't get any harder. I don't think they'll lose more than 2 games to finish the season.

Looking like the jays want the Red Sox to sweep the Yankees as the Yankees finish up the year against the Jays and Rays. Red Sox have a spot locked in with their last two series being easy wins (O's and Nat's)
