I have zero issues with the Rays doing that. It fell out, he picked it up. Maybe Kirk should secure it a bit better next time.

Kiermaier is a top 3 d-bag in baseball. His response is stupid. The fact the bat boy went over to get it and kiermaier refused to give it up is stupid. The fact that he thinks he's a top player in baseball with a sub .700OPS over his last 4 seasons is stupid.
It's a moot point now because any "vital" information on that card will have been changed by now.
But it's just stupid because it's kiermaier.
I hate that guy.
