What post overrates Toronto? The questions was do players like playing in Toronto.

If you think these guys spend the offseason in Toronto - No most do not

They play everyday and are on the road half the season. All thats matters is the stadium and training facilities, and a few restaurants for most of them.

And there are a lot of worst cities in MLB |

Myself, I do prefer Montreal and Vancouver as places to visit. And for liveability, Calgary.

But as a millionaire celebrity athlete, Toronto is a good spot. They show up when you matter, and if you win, they deify you.

Just amazing watching how much the Jays' playoff odds have shifted. On 538, Just an 11% chance a week ago, a 40% chance today.

Fun fact: the As offered Semien a one year $12.5 million deal in the off season where they paid him $1 mil per year each year for 10 years. That is so weird!

Not surprising that he didn’t take it. Clearly the A’s are still cheap bastards.

Dickerson starting in the lead off position again (???). Did CM forget how electric things were when Simien led off? I mean we got the W yesterday so can't complain too much, but the man was not what you want in a #1 hitter.

Semien has been pretty hot in the number two spot lately, why mess with anything when the guy is hitting bombs. Or are we desperate for anti-Montoyo rhetoric again? I guess it’s been 24 hours.

Yeah, they've won 6 in a row. You're not looking to change the lineup when you're rolling.
