Highly doubt there is a wait list for tickets.
We made the decision to drop our tickets this year after almost a decade. Product on the ice is poor, not going to live games during the pandemic just kind of highlighted how low it was on my priority list.

My account manager said they will not defer my tickets this year. best he could do is go down to a half season if I wanted to keep my seniority. I was told I didn't have to decide on cancelling my tickets until the end of August though so there definitely isn't a waiting list.

Great thanks as we are thinking the same thing - deferring the first half of the season.

Agreed. I’m double vaccinated but would be shocked if either of the Alberta teams implemented this. I know Winnipeg has instituted it for the bombers this summer.
It would give The Freedom marchers a rejuvenated sense of purpose…

Don't think that's a waitlist thing. You could aleaya choose to cancel that late or thereabouts without penalty. Even pre-pandemic.

I don't expect it will be a first half / second half split. It will be 22 games vs 23 games split, where the game distribution will be determined by the Flames. In my experience, the Flames determined distribution is "balanced".

Will be calling my account manager. I have no interest in attending the first half of the season.
As a season ticket holder since the very early days of the team in the city it will be interesting to see what they say.

Keep us posted. It would be interesting if they give special treatment to certain ticket holders.

I haven't been contacted at all and when I logged in today for the first time in over a year there was absolutely nothing. I'm wondering who has been contacted and what was said.

Not sure if this means the end of the Hot House STH wait list, but it sounds like they are taking "registrations" for access to season tickets this year (in addition to half-season tickets and game packs): https://www.nhl.com/flames/tickets/ticket-packs

We were able to defer for the first half of the season.
Very impressed with how the Flames dealt with us.

I tried relocating my seats a couple days ago in the same price range. Nothing came up in the lower tiers. I'll be choked if they have been saving these for new memberships. Was very little to choose from in the second level as well.

Am I the only sucker here that actually upgraded my tickets this year?

I was willing to upgrade, but nothing in the areas I wanted. Granted my "target zone" is very small, but I was willing to if I could have.

This isn't related too season tickets, but I was just looking at tickets for the Flames first pre season game against the Oilers on September 26th and there are hardly any tickets left. Does anyone know if there were only limited tickets released or if the game is actually almost sold out? I'd be surprised if this was the case but I guess people are excited too get back

Preseason games are never sold out. If they don't release more on ticketmaster there most assuredly will be plenty on the resale/secondary market, and that includes CP.
I suppose there could be some increased demand being the first live Flames game in a year and a half, but that wouldn't mean a complete sellout. Tickets also haven't been released to season ticket holders yet which is why there are no resale tickets available yet.

Have any STH received a package or further information regarding proof of vaccination etc?
I don't see any tickets in my account yet.
With first preseason game just a couple weeks out I was really starting to wonder.
