It was a drive by that added absolutely nothing to the discussion about where Chechelev was playing.
As for expectations, should the Flames just quit drafting goalies because they have had little success so far?

Looks legit. He's with the Barry/Brisson group.
Next question is where does Chechelev play? He'd take up an Import AND Overage slot if he played Major Junior. Is the USHL an option? College? Most teams have their rosters pretty much pencilled in at this time of the year.

I suspect one of these goalie will be traded or loaned to another AHL team.
Going to make for an interesting training camp.
Vladar, Wolf, Parsons, Chechelev, Werner all after Marky.

He will probably come to camp and they will go from there when they can assess him.
Someone's going to get loaned somewhere though.
Can a player with NHL rights sign their own deal with an AHL or ECHL team?
