Double agent Pat Sieloff, scores a goal for us and takes down the Ottawa Senators from within the organization.

 Had a good audition.

Olli Jokinen “So that’s what having a 1C feels like”. Then he was replaced with his twin after one game. He was still a good player, but I remember being pumped from his first game here.

Robert DomeFor some reason remember thinking he would somehow break out and be an amazing scorer and long time flame. Maybe it was the sweet sounds of Peter Maher in that era mesmerizing me of the possibilities during that game.

I'll say Turner Elson for no other reason that I liked him with the Rebels and was convinced he would wind up a tenured 4th line guy when it was all said and done.
I was wrong, but it's good to know he's carved out a decent minor league career.

I have seen almost every one of those One Game Wonders. I am going to go with Mark Lamb, watched his one game on TV and also was in the stands when he scored for the oilers against the Jets in overtime in the first round of the 90 playoffs.

That game was peak Flames excitement for me (post-2004). The Flames were finally a juggernaut!

Bobby Lalonde (maybe not really a 1 gamer - 153 games for the Atlanta Flames before being shipped off to the Bruins) and Mark Lamb had pretty good NHL careers, even if only 1 game each in Calgary

I immediately thought of these 2... but I was off by just a hair:
 Rocky Thomson

 Raitis Ivanans

Was Ivanans the guy that got knocked out in a fight on opening night never to be seen again? By an Oiler too I think?

Yup.

I didn't remember him playing a 2nd game for us. Apparently it was the 9-0 loss in Boston... LOL
https://www.hockey-reference.com/box...201050BOS.html
This is the game that TJ Brodie played 24:57 and was even, while Butler was -7 playing 23:19. Backlund and Bouwmeester were also -5 FWIW.

Super bad conditioning. He had a reputation for coming out gangbusters to start a game only to be puking on the bench by the second period.
