I like Mean. I would be pleased if Ritchie was the last move.

I like mean imposing players too but I am unsure where he would fit.

At a certain point having a solid RH RW needs to become a priority.

My number one target is still Tomas Tatar because of the goal scoring and the relative puck possession numbers. But I would be happy with Nick Ritchie too. He’s big and mean, but he’s a good hockey player too. I think he’d help make 1/3 of a really good energy line, which is a hallmark of Darryl Sutter. Energy. Forecheck. Physicality.

No to Tatar. If you are targetting a goal scorer for the wing go get Tarasenko, might even get St Louis to retain salary.

Tatar was a healthy scratch in the playoffs. No thank you.

Why not Tatar? I don’t get the dislike. 0.75 points per game over the last three seasons, and a career relative corsi for percentage of 13.1%! Those are numbers I just can’t ignore.

And Coleman, Dube along with Mackey aren't shrinking violets either.

Its remarkable how much the roster has transformed with a few moves.

Identity is clearly taking shape. Only questions now are will the G position be good enough and is there enough scoring to win more 3-2 games than they lose.

Welcome to Darryl Sutter hockey...love it.

Don’t forget that “sneaky dirty” Lindholm according to Oiler fans. He isn’t afraid to get physical either

Without a doubt. The first time Zadorov lands a hard check on one of their soft forwards the amount complaining about how dirty the Flames are will be unbearable.

For sure, but this would still be fun. This team has been too soft for too long.

I’m surprised Nick Ritchie’s not signed. Is Treliving making sure he gets the RFAs signed and has the cap space first?
