Calgary, Winnipeg, Washington need backups. Montreal might need a backup too, depending on how long Price is out for. Dallas has too many goalies even with Bishop out.

Nilsson, 31 years old
McElhinney, 38 years old
Dell, 32 years old

Not very good options.

Backup Trade Options...Vanecek, Forsberg, Stalock.
Columbus tanking so might trade away both their guys?

Trade might be the way to find a backup. Few teams looking though...

I know it would be unpopular, but bringing Dell home would probably come cheap.

His career hasn’t been horrible and last year was such a small sample size, who knows what he brings any more. He could still have a season or two in him.

Dubnyk on the cheap would be a solid backup. Otherwise McBackup, Dell, Schneider, Nilsson... would be fine in the 1 Mil range.
