Already was on a sweetheart contract. Last chance to get paid.

TBH, not the worst offer. Anything over 8 million is an overpay for Landeskog IMO. He is probably looking at more than that in free agency.

I don’t know that I’d offer much more than that if I’m the Avs.

I'm surprised he didn't take the 7 x 7 to stay where he's played hi whole career so far and a team that finished 1st overall this year.

Average players are signing for slightly less...I would rather "overpay" a great player

I know Dhaliwal is well connected, but he hasn't Tweeted about this. He does radio hits and has his own show, so I'm looking for confirmation he actually said this, but I wouldn't be surprised either. 3 years seems too long though.
I think this guy is trolling. His latest tweet says that Dhaliwal is saying Edler will be made Captain and the deal is $4 mil x 3

Friedman saying COL has a $7X7 offer on the table for Landeskog

https://twitter.com/FriedgeHNIC/stat...e-landeskog%2F

That's the hometown discount knowing MacKinnon will be in the $9 mil range in two years.

Could $8.5 x 7 get it done? Is there a team that would offer $9 x 7?
