Not Spinazzola specifically. The dives afterwards to kill time

Martinez will probably be done. They should still have enough talent to be one of the favorites next December, they just need a manager who isn't playing like West Brom.

it's just time to make big changes and stop the clock every time the play is stopped. Just have 2 x 30 minute games, that's more than net playing time is right now and you kill all the shenanigans.
|
Or just stop time for injury and VAR reviews.
Can have running time for the rest but if you just have time stop for injuries then it would stop a lot of the milking of injuries.

Belgium has just had a weird ride this generation.
2014: life and death to beat the Americans, lost to Argentina
2016: lost to Wales
2018: life and death to beat Japan, lost to France
2020: lost to Italy
Nothing really shocking about losing today but combined with the rest, it's a lost generation.

The ref never adds enough time.

Thank You!!! Enough of this stoppage time ####. Just stop the damn clock when there are injuries. This diving crap will mostly disappear instantly.

Doku's start/stop acceleration is incredible, gonna be a real handful when he fills out a bit more physically.

Yup.
Italy were not ready for Doku at all and had no plan for him. Actually a bit lucky he only burned them once
Edit: Sounds like a torn Achilles for Spinazzola. Heartbroken for him. Could argue he was one of the players of the tournament so far and was setting up for a big transfer and pay day for himself.

Based on his excellent form it appears that Gabriel Jesus does, in fact, know kung-fu.

Belgium is an extremely talented but a pretty soft team that way too often plays like they expect to win on superior talent alone.

lol Sancho is going to start today according to the Athletic. This has been the ultimate trolljob by Southgate ... the moment he becomes a United player, he's apparently good enough all of a sudden.

I think Southgate has earned the right to be trusted in what he does by now by the English fans. 2nd best manager in their history.

Please tell me you're not counting Big Sam as #1.
Alf Ramsey and Bobby Robson, off the top of my head.
