Also heart and will to win. Just as important as these other pieces.
They are a bunch of cheaters but they have built a culture of winning over the past number of years. They remind me of the Stamps in CFL - where it's almost just expected for the team to win.
And just like the Stamps.. little hardware to show for it so far. But they still win a lot more games than they lose.

Odds are this Flames team would have allowed a tying goal, then hit a few posts in overtime before losing.

I actually looked this up recently. The only other time it has happened was the 2003 Final when 1995's 13th overall pick, J.S. Giguere faced 1990's 20th overall, Martin Brodeur.
2021 was also the first time that the starting goalies for all 4 teams in game one of the semi-final were first round picks.

I hate all the other Canadian teams.
Tampa cheats. But I think the town deserves credit as a successful nontraditional hockey market.
Don't like either of them, but I actively hate the Habs.

It's definitely shattering the previous ceiling for goalie cap hits; IIRC Holtby's 6.1M was the highest ever.
MAF was a slightly higher % of cap (8.82%); Vasilevskiy is 11.66%.
