How about you actually try to discuss topics instead of taking every chance to take a pee all over the Flames? Why are you even a fan?
What a miserable way to be.

I'm guessing its 100% more than rumour and most likely true. When Chucky was on his game and scoring as well as mixing it up he was awesome. When we wasn't scoring and only cheap shotting and mouthing off, not so much. I think most fans believe that he won't be a Flame long term so might as well rip the bandaid off now and see what you can get for him.

This board has been pretty consistent in it's desire to what significant changes to the team.
Baseless and inaccurate.

I haven't listened to the podcast, as far I know it might be Shane O'Brien trying to be relevant.

Neat. Not sure what that has to do with Tkachuk not being a second line winger.

I think almost everyone here would trade Tkachuk and a 1st for Eichel...its been talked about almost non-stop
untouchable is different than not wanting to give players away. If Tkachuk is available there will be a lot of offers.

Perhaps you can explain to me why a player with one season above 61 points and a career 0.33 playoff PPG should be considered a surefire, undisputed 1st line winger? Nevermind the upcoming contract situation that almost surely mitigates his value as a trade commodity.
He plays on the second line of a bubble team and puts up second line numbers. This isn't as outlandish as you make it sound.

What are you saying the first line was? Mangiapane - Monahan - Ritchie?

For better or for worse, Gaudreau-Monahan-Ritchie (and before you ask, I think two of those three would be second line players on a championship team as well, based on their recent play, and the other doesn't belong in the NHL at all).

If you are going to crap on players at least put some effort in. Tkachuk is 6th in scoring for left wings since he entered the league.
Look who is number 4. Too bad they are not centers.

Gaudreau and Tkachuk are both bona fide top line left wings.
That's why it makes sense to trade one of them. If Tkachuk were a second line left wing, there wouldn't be a surplus at that position.
If they had two number one centers, or two number 1 defensemen, that would be a different story.
It seems like Gaudreau is more willing to sign a reasonable long term contract. And it seems like Tkachuk might not be happen with his usage under Sutter.
Can't wait for the draft so I can stop speculating so much (hopefully).

Looking at the HF thread there are plenty of great offers from other fans
Devils fans offered Holtz+4th overall.
Some Sens fans throwing a bunch of meh pieces but there are others who know Stutzle would need to be on the table.
Lots of people thinking a deal around Eichel makes sense.

Because that production is in line with a 1st line winger.
Perhaps you can explain to everyone what you think a 1st line winger is. I’ll help you start your research, there’s about 60 of them every year. Good luck, let us know what you find out.

A Tkachuk trade has the potential to land Calgary some pretty nice pieces, without a doubt. Don't think it's something that can be dismissed out of hand, but it's also not something that should be considered necessary.
