Pretty much any dark beer, but my fave is still Kilkenny or Guiness. I don't care a whole lot for the lighter beers, but that is in a scale of beer where both one and ten are good!

Your choices couldn't match my own any more closely.. with the exception of Cheval Blanc, which I haven't tried. Based on your impecable taste in the other beers, I'll have to give it a try!

Thanks! Cheval Blanc is a Quebec beer (means White Horse in French). At first I wasn't really into white beer (Hoegarden and such), but they do sort of grow on you. The white beers seem to be the latest trend here -- you go into a pub and half the people in there are drinking a white beer.
For white beer, I usually won't have more than two in a sitting, but I do enjoy one once in a while.
Also, if you're ever in Montreal make sure to visit a pub called Dieu du Ciel (God of the Sky) for some of the finest micro-brew around. The only place you can buy the beer is in the pub and by the pint.

I noticed when I was in Montreal a couple years ago that Quebec has some of the most ass-kickingly awesome micro breweries in the counrty. Great great beers in Quebec.

Totally agree, Montreal is a great place to be for beer lovers. Other pubs I recommend in addition to Dieu du Ciel are La Mer a Boire and Cheval Blanc. They're all amazing.

I usually find myself picking up a case of Moosehead, I love this stuff.
Also have a big soft spot for MGD when the mood strikes .
I also find myself getting either Red or Newcastle Brown farely often.
Been having Pil now and again, especially working around Fort McMurray.
But gimme an ice cold Moosehead any day of the week, and it will put a smile on my face

Sweet! We don't have Keith's Red here yet, but we will soon. I was sent some "samples" for photography and I'm sure it will become my new #1.

Had that on New Years. I really liked it. Funny story. I told my buddy "We got two pitchers of beer!". He interpreted that as "get two pitchers of beer!". Ok, not so much a funny story, but a delicious one.

That's easy: Big Rock: Traditional Ale
I hate it when places like the 'Dome have an agreement with a big beer company. You are stuck with bad beer. Rickard's Red is not that bad but it seems like they are always out of it. The bartender told me they used to sell Big Rock but Molson's freaked out.
