 Leafs never fail to disappoint. They always find ways to lose. They're cursed... they're the ny knicks/ cleveland browns of the nhl
I.thought it was legit over after game 4. I thought it was over when the leafs came back from 0-3 in game 5 and forced ot.
Galchenyuk careless play/dumb ass pass at the habs line that got intercepted and led to the 2 on 0 turnover overtime goal(caufield to suzuki) was the turning point of the series. Without that careless play , no habs come-back, muzzin does not get hurt (he was hurt in game 6)and leafs finally advance.
Im stunned. Go habs!

How many times does this have to be repeated? Corey Perry hates the Calgary Flames and the other Western Canadian teams with the fire of ten thousand red giants. If the Flanes were to claim on waivers he would just retire.
Perry will never play in Western Canada. Never, unless it is wreakimg unholy havoc for the opposing team.

Perhaps that would've been the best outcome for the Flames. claim him, let him retire, he can't play for the team the Flames were chasing in the standings.

And if he would have retired, then Hanifin isn’t injured and the Flames probably make the playoffs. I hate to play in hypotheticals but claiming Perry on waivers was an absolute no-lose idea, though understandable. He could really help this team, or he could have not played against them.

Canadiens have now won 12 playoff games in a row when they score at least three and Price is in net. Imagine how scary they'd be with another gamebreaker or two.

Both had great chances tonight when the game was close and were pretty un lucky not to score. But not a ton of chances overall. And they didn’t impose their will on the game.

Not saying the Habs will win the cup but this is the reason why it was ridiculous to expect Treliving to give up on the playoffs and tell Sutter to play kids and Dominique until they were mathematically eliminated.
