Wait what... the Duclair slash didn’t even look that bad, I haven’t seen a second look at it but immediately I figured it was a bit of a Dive on an unnecessary slash.

Haha, no that they aren't going away easily.

Lightning will likely win this series now, but it's going to be hard and it's going to take a toll.

Honestly, I think they've held their composure pretty well considering all the dirty plays Tampa has given them in this game. They've held on to a lot of power plays, but haven't capitalized the way Tampa has.

Honestly, the biggest flaws in their game are the PK and the net front defense. Both were putrid today and have been poor in the series overall. The last thing I'm worried about is their composure.

Panthers getting called much more then Tampa.
That Gudas call was ridiculous.

Sergachev and Cernik get away with blatant fouls there. And Hornqvist gets the call.

Was Bobrovsky that bad? Is Dreidger giving them a better chance? I'm curious havent been able to watch that closely, but I haven't seen anything really special from Driedger so I have to assume Bob was really bad in Game 1 to leave your $10m goaltender on the bench.

Oh look, Hornqvist gets his revenge on Sergachev on a strong check from the side. Sergachev also dead on the ice like he's been shot.

Hard to feel bad for Sergachev. He's been an a-hole all game long.

Edit: I thought the refs kicked Hornqvist out based on the replay, but they gave him a misconduct for jawing with Maroon.

Hit was clean. Maybe a little dangerous due to the place on the ice, but Sergachev didn't protect himself at all.

Now Lomberg going after Gourde and there's a line brawl.

How was that not a perfectly legal hit?

Nothing wrong with goaltending today

What's frustrating is that it's the same basic Lightning play on the PP that keeps killing them. Pass from Hedman (or Stamkos) over to Kucherov for the one-timer. Kuch either shoots or passes to Point for the other one-timer.

Like at some point, just make them beat you with literally any other play.

The hit was on a Tampa Bay player. That's all it takes.

To be clear, they didn't penalize him for the hit. Misconduct for jawing with Maroon.

That’s an absolutely clean hit. Nothing wrong with what Hornqvist did.

I almost hate the Lightning as much as I hate the Oilers.

...or pass to Killorn for tap in net front goal.

That’s a helluva PP with loads of options and high end execution.

Give TB a lot of credit.

I could summarize this Tampa win in two words:

Powerplay and goaltending.

Sometimes that's all it takes in the playoffs.

19 goals given up in 4 games
Goaltending or defence...that’s way too much

Well, he embellished an injury for the entire season so hard to take him serious at any point.
