If Conners putts like he did today he has a really good shot at winning.
It's really the only thing that holds him back. (kinda the only thing that holds the Canucks back).

I mean most PGA pro's were born as rich country club #######s, most of them have varying degrees of punchable faces.

The course, particularly back nine, pretty ruthless this morning.

+5 on the day now.....but entering the "easiest" stretch of holes. He has to grab a couple birdies here or he will be to far back to have a sniff come Sunday.

Conditions look tough but scoring seems better.

Well at least we are seeing each and every shot of Jordan friggin Spieth....who is unlikely to even make the cut. So annoying.
Really do not understand CBS golf coverage and never will.

It's like NHL coverage. About 10 guys no matter where they are. It's going to be the Koepka, McIlroy and Thomas group all afternoon. Plus they only have so many cameras.
I think Spieth will make the cut though. I project the cut to be +4 maybe +5. I think the afternoon guys are in for some hurt.

I mean how are people surprised how US networks cover golf? They used to show every Tiger shot even if he was 10 shots back. Golf TV, maybe more than any other sport, is about catering to the casual.

Conners finished 2 under. That is fantastic, right in the thick of it.

I understood the Tiger stuff though.
He transcended golf. A rare athlete in that regard.
Spieth is just a guy who was good early on, then cratered spectacularly and is only now starting to get his game back to competitive. There are, literally, dozens of guys better than him right now. That was never the case with Woods.
