Shouldn’t it going on the Nasdaq already be priced into the stock price given it’s a known event.

I'm not an expert at all, but it seemed like this wasn't the case. This stock is also getting some interest from Wall Street Bets so it's anyone's guess what might happen. Saw a quick shoot up to $6.80 on open today and then a sharp drop to $5.20 within the first 20 minutes of trading.

I got my initial investment out of MMED today. Pretty happy to have no skin in the game other than 1000 free shares I'm walking away with. I have been in since $.80 and it's been a wild ride watching this stock.

Good for you! I've been in since $3.71 and I'm just holding for the time being. The price today has been pretty flat after the initial bump up and drop.

What to do with Reconnaissance Energy Africa. They had some positive drilling results a couple weeks back and the share price nearly tripled - they now sit at a 1.25B market cap. Is it too late to get in? Or does this company have 10B+ valuation potential? They’ve got the rights to about 10M acres there and sounds like billions of barrels of oil in the basin they’re exploring.

I think I’m just talking to myself on this, but anyway, trading was halted on RECO today. I read it was RECO itself that requested trading be stopped. I’ve never heard of a company doing this.
Tomorrow should be interesting.

Yes, although I bought some at $11, so have already sold about half in the 40s. Trying to figure out if I should keep letting it ride or just take the profits and consider it a success. It's had quite a run.

I don't have much in them, and bought at $24.5, so not a huge deal for me. I had wanted something in hydrogen, but maybe that was a bad pick.

It's not an uncommon thing to happen. I've seen it before for news releases like acquisitions (happened just yesterday for another one I'm in, GDNP), or shares being added through a bought deal (which is what happened with RECO, but I've seen it with others before too)
I'm long on RECO, been around since Aug 2020 @ $0.70
but I'm not a financing guy or anything, I also bought GME @ over $400
