Weak PP call there. One crosscheck and a call against the Sens.

Canucks down 4 - 1 late in the third. Pulled the goalie with 4 minutes left in the game.

Now 5 - 1

You are assuming he would choose Calgary with his multiple offers

True, no guarantees but we would have had a chance. Veeeery different season if he had signed here.

Dougie is the best. I miss that guy.

His cele he just books it back to the goalie who made a sick outlet pass.

The pillaging of the Canucks if we landed Toffoli would have been perfect. He was the last piece we needed to make that offseason a true hit every nail on the head roster round up success.

It's also a very different season if they just hired Sutter from the start. With Ward behind the bench Tofolli probably underperforms like the rest of the team.

I like Dougie too. Seems like a really good guy. Not cut from the common mold for a hockey player and one wonders if that was a factor in the Bruins and Flames moving him. Which if true - is too bad. Hockey clubs that are willing to be more inclusive of who "fits", just like any organization, are likely to enjoy an advantage.

He was heavily involved with charities locally when here. Again - seems like a really good guy.

Hamilton is good but Lindholm + Hanifin is better.

I can see that. He’s getting interviewed right now and he’s really shaky, quiet, nervous, and shy. …Just scored a game winner on a breakaway in the NHL.

Edit: also Roslovic was a complete disaster. In OT he ran into his teammate, causing a breakaway… and later thought he could dangle in the slot for a week, then miffed a shot, leading to the game winning breakaway.

A bit goofy. Not intense. Quite cerebral.
Not the typical NHL player.

Something went wrong for him here and he no longer wanted to play for the Flames. I don’t know what the hell it was but seems like the deal with his brother had something to do with it.

He is an elite player and IMO his acquisition was Treliving’s best move.
