Shoemaker's really having a tough year. Just gave up 9 runs in 3.1 to the Royals. His ERA is now 7.83.

If he’s not healthy, shut him down. Don’t rush it.
For all the talk of “another Donaldson situation”, don’t forget Josh Donaldson is still awesome.
They need Springer healthy for the next five and a half years, not the April/May when they’re playing in front of Cardboard cutouts in Dunedin.
