Default April 30, just four games.

Here is the Friday OOT. The Jets-Habs game will be the big game to follow.
The remaining three games are from the West Division. There are no games on national television.

I am stunned the Flames are still in it. And actually not entirely sure I believe it.

In any case, go Jets!! My dream scenario is Calgary and Vancouver duking it out at the end where they both have a chance to make it. That would be exciting and i prefer that to say Vancouver being out of it and playing for nothing.

Shea Weber isn't able to play tonight for Montreal.

That's a shame.

2-0 Jets

Trevor Lewis scores after Toffoli was stopped on a great chance seconds earlier

I've been wrong before but Vancouver looks totally out of gas already and have so many games to play.

They stole those two against the Leafs getting out chanced 56-16 but haven't looked good in one game since coming back.

Toffoli misses a golden chance at one end, Lewis rips one home at the other end.

I'm about the last guy to defend the Nucks, but Green being all cranky the other day about their "effort" after they lost a couple games rubbed me the wrong way. He should get and partially recover from covid then lace up the skates again and see how much effort he can give. The Canucks aren't going to be doing much else the rest of this season whether Green likes it or not, and quite frankly they look way worse than before and that team was already second worst in the Canadian division. If I were a coach I wouldn't be pulling the "poor effort" card under those circumstances. Exhibit A on how to get your team to tune you out, mind you I think he was already on his way out after this year.

My goodness, all that pressure by the Habs and then Lewis scores his 2nd of the night. 3-1 Jets.
