It's great to see Markstrom come through like that. He's let in 2 or fewer in 8 of 9 games now.

Thought Dube had a really good third after his penalty and obviously that goal was huge. Andersson with a really good performance too.

This was a fun one. Last shoutout to Nestorov for playing pretty well and being really physical.

But but (possible ATL preview) according to Oiler fans its the league's fault that they lost because they played three games in four sob nights, plus its hard for the mighty oil to get up for a meaningless game against a non playoff team. Oh and the refs had it in for the Oilers. And poor Drai was just exhausted.

God what a lame fan base.

Fantastic effort. Still feel like we are laying out a clinic on how to push the coil out in the first round. As to playoffs feel like I checked my numbers and didn’t win the millions but a flicker of hope that I might hit the extra.

Well done boys.

On Twitter all I see is Oilers fans whining about McAvi getting crosschecked by Nesterov. Ignoring the penalty he should have been called for before that.

I have to admit: I liked Michael's play-by-play style. He reminds me a little of Al Michaels. Yes, there was clear bias. But he has a good voice and knows how to raise it in a dramatic way when there are dangerous or dramatic moments in a game (like Bob Cole or Chris Cuthbert). That's what I value the most in a play-by-play announcer.

In the first... McDavid came flying in and tried to split (I think it was) Ras and Nesterov. Nesterov gave McDavid a ride. Does anyone have the .gif bc I want to set it on replay and watch it.

Nesterov should get a trophy for that play.

And then also for that hip-check on Neal. Two trophies.

I believe the Flames haven't lost when Dube scores this season. Time for a 23 game goal scoring streak.

I have to disagree. Guy sounds like he’s at a monster truck rally. Also, Al Michaels is a legend and should never be compared to this oilers bum.

He's way better than Quinn was, so I'm not gonna complain. I like Debrusk as a color guy, so no issues with the broadcast during the game. The intermission was pretty dull, but it was Oilers-centric so I also didn't care.

I feel like the trophy for the Neal hit would have a 96% completion rate among game owners though.

He is a huge upgrade over Kevin Quinn

Has McAvi blamed the loss on playing back to back yet?

Oilers lost this game, and I will tell you why.

The Flames are playing playoff hockey. Oilers can't play playoff hockey.
