Bob Hartley wins the Gagarin Cup (KHL)
Head coach for Avangard Omsk and just won his first KHL championship.
Congrats Bob.
Former Flame Corban Knight also on the team.

Bob Hartley has now won the Stanley Cup, Calder Cup, NLA, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and—at last—the Gagarin (see photo for the math). Félicitations légende!
Winning a championship in 5 different leagues is pretty impressive. Luck can only take you so far.

Probably a great feeling of redemption for Hartley as well, seeing as how CSKA swept him the last time Omsk met CSKA in the finals 3-4 years ago.
Nice to see him come out on top against the defending champs though. For as much flack as Hartley got while he was here, he's undeniably a good coach that knows how to get the most out of his teams.

I think it is more than that. Didn't he also win the Swiss league (or was it German) before coming to Calgary?
