Till we see some players off our farm team. There are several i would luv to see what they have. Yes I’m throwing in the towel. We have a history of screwing ourselves over draft order buy winning going meaningless games that does nothing to help us. We need some new fresh skilled talent on the farm. Only games i refuse anything less then a win is the Oilers. Hate runs deep lol

This 3 game set will be the tell marker. And even then, there's this stubbornness surrounding the Flames. So who knows if they do bring kids up even when the fat lady has sung.

Plus the Heat have games in Winnipeg for the next week (four I think).

They won't pull them back from Winnipeg when they need a full squad to complete their season I would guess.

Timing probably lines up that Calgary finds themselves more sure they're done in 7 days which will coincide with a lot of AHL players with time on their hands.

Heat have five more to go before they wrap up on Apr 29.

They kick off their series at Manitoba today. I assume we'll find out whether they've left anyone at home or not when they hit the ice at 5:00.

Once Stockton is done in Winnipeg, the Flames will still have seven games left in their season (and will likely be done in the playoff race).

When you listen to Darryl there's no panic....seemingly no urgency to make changes right now other than Bennett.

Now....I get thats to the media but it makes me wonder whats really happening behind closed doors.

I ask certain questions to myself such as .....

Why did the Flames let Burke walk? Did he see something in this management here that he figured they'll be okay and figure it out OR did he see and know it was a lost cause and wasted time, care and attention?

Tre , Maloney and Conroy are a part of the architectural team here that Darryl claimed in an interview early on that the blueprint was sound but not being followed.

What does that mean? Darryl is the 5th coach now in 5 years and so is he claiming he can fix this issue without weeding out specific players that need to move on?

I too want to see who's on the heat that are the future but this team has time and time again proven to not be interested in promoting from within sometimes and then make bad bad moves such as PTOs and reclamation projects and player swaps while retaining salaries ....no different than paying coaches not to coach.

I mean something has to give here. If I was a billionaire owner and my money was just being thrown around without results or any accountability I'd have an issue.

We've seen that here so many times before going back as far as Riseborough and just before. Al McNeil and management at that time hated each other and had different agendas....and this is only a limited amount of information I've heard about and I'm not even connected with anyone at orange Julius.

I wanna see the mediocrity end. I wanna see coach killers GONE. The coaching carousel has to stop for awhile .

OP....I get it....I want to see what we have to look forward to as well but?????

When have the Flames not played young players after they are out of it? people seem to want to make up things to be angry about

Calgary could be 2 points back if they sweep the next 3 games they are obviously going to try to do it.

Ya until they are mathematically eliminated they are going to be competing for every point to get them into the playoffs.

Even for a Sutter-coached group, I'm not sure they're prepared to essentially win out. By all means though, let the luck we've been missing since January come flooding in over the final three weeks and shock me.
