Liked Stajan there. Kinda choked up talking about Gio. And the wordmark jersey story - hahaha.

This is how I feel. I know the Flames are the worst team ever according to some but how many close games have they lost? If you replaced Monahan and Ritchie with two legit 1st liners things would look very different. A bunch of those one goal losses would be wins or at least points.

Its a fine line

Good response to Toronto scoring on the first shot of the game.

Although, I'm curious to know what "bread bread" is.

A drinky typo.

It was home made bread so I assume it’s 2x carbs haha

I’ll definitely have to watch the recording for this, as I’m on the TSN feed. Stajan is awesome.

Miller “is there any player in the NHL who likes the behind the back or between the legs play more then the Matthew Tkachuk?”. Ferraro “yes, he certainly loves that”.

Golden!

Some good chances once the top unit came out.

Disagree. Despite the continued lack of offense (the coach can't score goals), I think they have played quite a bit better. You aren't going to win many games with a cold/dead offense and struggling goaltending.

But they have been better structurally, and they have had a much better work ethic. And those are things the coach CAN affect.

Too little too late, but at least we (the organization) can better evaluate the players now.

Friggen awesome PP with great chances. I have a heart attack every time someone shoots at Hutch. Seems like Leafs whole game changes to sheltering him when he plays. Poor kid has definitely been thrown into some fire this year.

I like the analogy somebody made of gaudreau being a kessel type player. Skills for days, but not the complete player like a mackinnon. He is seven years in the league now, so he is what he is. Unfair to expect he can be more. Imagine the damage he’d do as a supporting player.

Nordstrom has been more dangerous in 1.5 periods than Monahan has all season.

Who knew we had the Swedish Gretzky??

Nordstrom has better straight ahead speed than almost every other forward except Dube.

And other than LA, Sutter’s teams typically haven’t been successful during his first season with the club (see San Jose and Calgary).

The roster will also need some adjustments.
