It's the Leafs so I expect they get a league mandated PP early in the 2nd.

Look at this panel (Leafs feed) looks like a used suit convention.

Nordstrom scores on gios 500th point and then Mangipane score to end the period.... alrighty!
Still 40 minutes to go. Not holding my breath yet.
But man, I love the Miller/Ferraro TSN duo. And TSN is just nicer to watch all around .

It helped that Hutchinson had zero play on the puck.

So solution to the flames scoring issues seems simple... we just need to have the other team dress their third string tender - and keep Johnny's line off the ice.

Tonight I made a baked gnocchi with beef/sausage meatballs with a full baguette of garlic bread on the side. I expect to have diabetes within the hour.
Although, I'm curious to know what "bread bread" is.

Ferraro even knows how the Flames are. Basically stated this is how the Flames want to play, as in they don’t carry it in but dump it.
Damn, the Leafs broadcast is great. Between periods, even on. Sunday, they have Duthie, Poulin, O’Neil, and Dreger as their panel. Quality and polished(one can argue about Dreger and his occasional BS, but he is polished). Certainly not cheaping out on the production.
Although I do like the Flames tandem of Ryan Leslie and one of the former Flames(Brower, Stajan, Sarich etc) during the intermission, so for that I am grateful. Overall though. Besides the HNIC crew, most of the Flames Sportsnet between periods analysis is amateur hour at best and unwatchable.

Scary to think what Johnny could do if he had legit 1st liners to play with. It kinda feels like this team is wasting his talent just like they did with Iginla.

Oh my god that sounds soooo good. I haven’t had decent gnocchi since the last time I could go into Canada pre-Covid. Most places in Houston never heard of it.

I think we will see his numbers go back to elite if he moves on to another team.
