Johnny absolutely crushed.

I give him a lot of credit. He's buying in, and getting absolutely physically destroyed while doing so. I don't think I've seen him get hit as much as he's been hit since Sutter took over.

This team actually looked quite good in those first 3 games under Sutter. They were skating hard, hitting, forechecking like crazy, and they even scored a few timely goals. Things were looking very promising.

Then came the 7-3 pounding at the hands of the Oilers, and they've looked completely broken ever since. It's like McDavid and Draisaitl completely crushed whatever confidence the Flames might have had. Similar to what happened against Colorado a couple of years ago.

Brad’s players are not really acquired for the purpose of being traded, I think the lack of trades over the past 7 years has proven that so this is not a big concern.

Call me a downer, but I see a 0-3 stretch against Winnipeg with 1 goal scored in 3 games.
