Jesus, dude. Why didn't you just use "hood" and "thug" in your post to really drive home the lack of subtlety.

You know speaking of tanking, are we about to see the first ever QB tank off? If you're Wilson, Fields or Lance you would quite obviously rather be on the 49ers than the Jets. Watch them try and put together the worst Pro Day in history to slide to #3 lol.

No comment on the Eagles yet? Clearly the biggest losers of the day.

In what sense? Team was gonna be trash this year and they now likely have 3 first round picks in next year's draft. Should still have their pick of one of Smith, Waddle, or Horn at 12.

Going back to this morning's NFL news that's already been overshadowed by the Dolphins' wheeling & dealing, Lattimore was on the verge of signing what was rumoured to be a 4 year extension worth $18M/yr. Dude just cost himself tens of millions most likely, what an idiot. Not that there's ever a good time for something like that to happen, but he couldn't have picked a worse time if he tried..

Will be curious to see the fallout from that one. When it said "receiving stolen property", I was giving him the benefit of the doubt in my head until I heard it was a stolen gun.

If the Wentz pick comes through and the Dolphins stay the same as last year those are picks in the 18-28 range. You've desperately needed a receiver for years and you had the best prospect in recent history right there and decided to trade back. And you wanted Wilson so clearly you still need a QB. It just seems like there isn't really a plan here. Watch them take Jones at 12 lol.

Sorry.

I mean...who doesn't drive around Cleveland late at night with a gun loaded and ready for use? Mea culpa. Likely patrolling for Guardian Angels and didn't know that concealed stolen weapons were breaking the law,

But sure...wouldnt want him confused with the gangs that do so. Just a coincidence for sure he was arrested by the gang unit as well.

I like it for both the Fins and the Eagles. Mind-boggling move from SF though ... I get making such a move for a surefire franchise QB, but for Fields?! Yikes.

Chris Simms 2021 QB rankings actually have Wilson over Lawrence. In the past, Simms has been a pretty good evaluator on the QB position.

We've also needed a cornerback since Asante Samuel left town. The team has holes everywhere and it's a deep WR class. It's not like Chase is heads and tails above Smith and Waddle.

If they were a WR away from competing, I might agree with you, but adding Chase doesn't get them out of the basement of the NFC East.

Now it's Roseman we're talking about, so watch him blow it on Mac Jones or a situational pass-rusher but the strategy is fine with me.

They went to the SB with Jimmy G, that offense is a QBs dream. It's an overpay for sure, but if Fields (or Lance) are going to succeed anywhere they basically landed in the best possible spot.

Fields has the best the accuracy of all the QBs in this class. It might take him a year or two to put it together but he's being dropped into a great situation.

I mean Chase is pretty clearly heads and tails about the other two, he didn't play last year and is still the consensus #1 WR. His freshman year at LSU he outperformed Jefferson, who just had a mammoth rookie year. The fact that the Eagles could have a Jefferson/Chase duo....wow. Even though I don't think Hurts is a franchise QB you'd have to be a really bad QB to not succeed with that duo.

Considering it’s lava hot take day I’ll add that Pitts is the true gem of this offensive weapons draft not Chase. Any of waddle, chase, smith, or pitts would be fine for Philly at 12. If they’re all gone you’re likely getting one of Farley, Surtain, or horn. To move back as they did clearly they don’t love anyone in a crazy manner so it’s not an awful move by any means. They’ll still address a position of need and get a first next year.

yeah I'm not going to dispute that. Just looking at it from an asset standpoint and I'm very surprised that Lynch would pull such a move for a guy like Fields.

Pitts is going second after Chase in pretty much all mocks right now. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Patriots trade up for him and run the first 2 RB, 3 TE offense since the advent of the forward pass.

I've seen some scouts thay have Waddle ranked highest on their board due to perceived upside, and some who have Smith ranked higher due to perceived pro-readiness. Some scouts have compared Chase to Anquan Boldin, which would still be the best WR the Eagles have had in years but hardly a generational talent.

I'm not defending Howie's draft record. I hated the Reagor over Jefferson pick last year, but for a team with as many holes as the Eagles have, it makes more sense to grab a premier player at 12 and arm yourself with more picks than it does getting a premier player at 6 and having less throws at the dartboard. It's not like they traded into the late teens or 20s.
