And there it is. Broncos and former Bears CB Kyle Fuller sign a one year 9.5 mil deal. Denver’s not over a barrel in being forced to go CB at 9 now which is nice. They probably still should but it’s not the emergency it was before.

Six more lawsuits alleging sexual assault and inappropriate conduct were filed against Deshaun Watson on Monday, including one that alleges the Houston Texans quarterback sexually assaulted a woman this month.

The attorney representing the women, Tony Buzbee, has filed 13 lawsuits against Watson since last week.

Browns quietly improving the defence:

Anthony Walker (LB) - Colts - tackles last 3 years = 92, 125, 105
John Johnson (S) - Rams - 105 tackles last year
Malik Jackson (DT) - Eagles - pro-bowler 2017
Takk McKinley (DE) - Falcons - 17.5 sacks first 4 years

3 of the top 7 teams in the AFC North? NE at 9?

I wonder how much Caserio regrets taking the Texans’ GM job now. It seemed bad when Watson wanted out, but now he’ll likely lose Watson and not even get anything back for him.

It works out worse for the organization in the short term but you can make a case this works out better for Caserio personally as it's a clean break and he's not going to be the guy that traded an elite QB for Darnold/Tagovailoa and a handful of picks that probably don't erase the loss of an elite QB. Nobody is going to blame him for the current state of the roster he inherited and he can now build his team with his hands clean of any Watson dealings.

What's the most plausible scenario with all this? It looks like one attorney trying to recruit these clients. All these women were massage therapists he brought to his house and sexually assaulted, but none of them went to the police? It doesn't sound like they were team hired or anything, so it doesn't sound like a case where the team was trying to keep it silent.

Was he thinking they were masseuses of the rub and tug variety, but weren't? He just has a thing for trying to force himself on masseuses?

Were they rub and tug types posing as legitimate, and the attorney is giving them money to say they aren't that kind of masseuses? And then that puts Watson in a position of having to admit to illegal solicitation with no proof that they really are that type of masseuse?

Nothing really seems to add up or make any sense. The media and league seem apprehensive in declaring him guilty.

Mariota re does his deal for 3.5 million to stay with the raiders

Good for the team, I still think he can be a good starter so it's a great insurance for carr. My guess is he wanted to stay in an offense he knows, with a coach who has a good reputation and friends around the league, so for next year when he can be a free agent right away, has a good chance to sign with a team who he could compete on a job for

Trubisky in a different but sorta similar situation signing in buffalo, with bevell expected to get head coaching looks next off season, why not go to buffalo and potentially impress him, wherever hes going likely needs a qb anyway

Picking a good situation as a backup is important

Gruden kind of screwed him though as they kept him to the point where his options in free agency would have been limited. If they released him earlier he would probably be on the Patriots, Texans, Dolphins roster with a good chance of being the starting QB making more than $3.5 million.

I think you have to wait for the draft to come to any conclusions. If they draft a RT in the first few rounds things will start making more sense. The only move I didn't care for was overpaying for Drake. The Raiders had the most expensive offensive line in the NFL and according to pff was only the 24th best last season so they weren't getting what they were paying for. Gabe Jackson was kind of overpaid and wouldn't take pay cut so not really surprising as Raiders fans have been discussing him being cut for a few years now. Trent Brown is one of the laziest, least motivated players I have seen since Haynesworth and it was a foregone conclusion he would be gone. Hudson was a surprise but while he was really good at pass blocking his run blocking was not great and the Raiders really struggled running on short yardage last season especially in goal to go situations and they are looking for more push from the OL. Cable and Gruden really like Andre James and think he could play that position at less than half the cost so really even if the OL performance doesn't improve over 2020 they will have invested much less salary cap to the unit enabling them to bring in a guy like Ngakoue.

I don't sip the Gruden kool aid so I'm not doing cartwheels here as after an 8-8 season he's made so many changes to that it's hard to tell if the Raiders got any better or worse. I don't know if the addition of Ngakoue is going to result in the Raiders actually getting hands on opposing QB's or if Gus Bradley can turn around one of the worst defenses ever into even a mediocre defense overnight so it's just wait and see at this point. Offense will probably be top 10 again but after that who knows?

Lol at intentionally getting yourself ratio'd. Bears fans likely aren't laughing though.

I feel so bad for Bears fans. Having the hope of acquiring Watson or Wilson (by overpayment), only to get the signing of a washed up QB who probably wouldn’t make the top 32 QB list.

It's not even likely rock bottom for the Bears fans, good chance they overpay to come take Trey Lance or Mac Jones.
