I really does feel like a slog at this point knowing there will be nothing truly positive to come out of this season.
No playoffs.
Nothing important done at the trade deadline due to COVID restrictions and quarantine.
Not bad enough to get a great draft pick (also, isn't the draft supposed to be weak as well this year?).

Add another loss to the pile.
I don’t want another situation where we miss out on drafting a Draisaitl and get a Bennett because we won one extra useless game during the death rattle of a season.
Just lose. Don’t care, there should be no stigma attached to tanking when the season is already lost (unplanned), when the stands are already empty (unplanned). Just react to the situation you’re actually in and focus all moves towards being better next season and beyond. Are we worried about a “losing culture” setting in? It’s already here, there is nothing further to fear.
